Since there wouldn't be any copyright issues, you might want to take a look at MPEG Streamclip (free) - as far as I know, it'll handle wmv. It is a converter - just drag in your footage and pick your settings under export.

You'll need to buy the WMV plug-in to be able to convert a .mov to a .wmv video.
MPEG Streamclip (and Quicktime) needs to have the plug-in to convert the video.
