Sorry - I 'retired' all of my old Apple Bluetooth devices when I got my Apple Thunderbolt Display - 'upgraded' to the USB extended keyboard and a new Bluetooth Magic Trackpad.
It's likely that your question has gone unanswered simply because no one else if having the same problem. Or don't have the same hardware as you.
The best thing that I can tell you is to take your MBP and your Bluetooth devices to your local Apple Store or AASP and see if you can duplicate your problem for them. It might be that you just need to 'upgrade' your Bluetooth devices or there could be something wrong with the Bluetooth controller - really hard to determine over the Internet.
