confirm that the sim is working and that your account
is properly provisioned for that sim. What are you
trying to do? What is the exact wording of any error message
you receive?
Did you recently update your iOS version or restore the iPhone?
If yes to either, are you now getting a message about using a valid
or supported sim? If this is the case, your iPhone was previously
hacked/modified/broken and now is relocked to the original carrier.
Google may give you some direction, but per Terms of Service
discussion of jailbroken iPhones is prohibited in these fora. Be
advised that the jailbreak may render your iPhone inoperative and
unrestorable when attempting a legitimate unlock. If iPhone was
not hacked, please provide the information requested in the first
paragraph.
