It would help if you posted which model (cpu) MBP he got. You're going to need a bootable operating system and it would help to know the model. In any case why not take the MBP to an Apple store or AASP and ask for their help?

MacPros made since early 2008 will not accept 10.4 installation. Get a 10.5 or 10.6 installation disk if possible

well the cpu it's an intel due core i5, and we have tried with a 10.4 ver 22691-5305-A disc but did not recornized the OS, we have also tried with a 10.7 ver disc but nothing either we get the apple sign and after 45 sec. of the cd loading we get an ERROR icon right on top of the apple logo.... and as far as teking this mac to a support center I believe it's not possible since we are in Guatemala right now...see....

What cpu would help. However the first i5's were the 2010 MBP's and they came with Snow Leopard 10.6. A 10.4 won't work as you found out. 10.5 won't work either. You need the right OS disk. If you post the cpu then we can date the Mac and be more definitive. Where did you get a 10.7 disk? For Guatemala:

I bought a dvd drive at a swapmeet back in cali some time ago, and it came with a 10.7.0 disc... we gave it another try to the 10.7 disc and so far we got to the installation part so far we can read that we have 17 min. left for the installation to finish but it's been at the same screen for the last 15 min and haven't pass by the 17 min... anyway I will post any updates as the installation progress or fails... .....SIG what would you like to know about the cpu?
I got the installer reg. open and at one of the last lines it says:
can not connect to /var/run/systemkeychaincheck.socket: No shuch file or directory
localhost OSinstaller(333):packageKit:---------- begin install ----------
