Q: Just updated my iphone 4 with ios6.1 and it's killed the sim card. Tried everything on the apple site including full restore that's meant I've lost everything but no joy.

I updated my iphone 4 with the ios 6.1 updated this afternoon and it's killed my sim card. I've tried everything on the support page including a full restore meaning I've lost everything but still no joy. Just tried the sim in a friends iPhone with the same provider and it's dead. Absolutely fuming that an update can do this.

If anyone has any final hint's, tips, or solutions then please let me know.
