the macbook i want to upgrade is the black 13" mid 2007 model with the 2.16GHz core2duo procesor and 3 GB of ram... it currently runs os x tiger (10.4.11) and i want to upgrade it to ne newest os it will support wich i believe is a vertion of osx lion (10.7.X), is there a simpler way to install osx lion than having to install osx snow leopard (10.6.8) first? and what is the latest vertion of os x this macbook will support?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
