Is it wrong to just vent? Does Apple read these? Is there somewhere, a suggestion box, complaint desk to voice these concerns?

I was just messing around with Adobe Premiere the other day and oh boy. Was it NICE to have a scrubbing wheel and a jog-shuttle slider. I didn't realize how much I missed those tools. I've been so intent on accepting the pared-down features of FCPX that I'd forgotten some things I used to rely on. The clip-scrubbing feature in FCPX is acceptable only to a point.

Please Apple, please. A REAL scrubbing wheel. There's SO much room on that tool bar to add one in. Don't make me switch!

Thanks for listening.

There is feedback in the FCP menu.

There was a shuttle slider and scroll wheel in legacy FCP. I don't know anyone who used them rather than the keyboard, but use feedback.

Why not try the JKL keys.

J back and faster with each press, K stop L forward and faster with each press.

Either hold the left or right arrow keys, or hold K and L or K and J together.
