Hi all

I recently purchased a new Ipad (saved for months) it was for my kids mainly for education

Anyways, I took it to Italy on a flight and left it in the seat pocket in front of me on the return leg back to London

I've tried all of the obvious ways to try and get it back (airport lost and found/airline lost and found and Ive even managed to get hold of the VP of sucteomr service for the airline who has written to me 3 times out of hours saying he has tried those avenues also)

My question is, I've tried to locate it through Icloud (I didnt have the find my iphone app) but its offline every time I check

I am wondering if its worthwhile contacting the police - I know its only £500 and small in relation to a major crime but my conjecture is that a cleaner has taken it (in other words stolen)

Any thoughts? - Is that worthwhile?

iPad, iOS 6.0.1, Brand new ipad
