Downgrading of iOS is not supported by Apple. Maybe if you describe the problem you seem to be experiencing, someone here can help you.

Not sure whether this is because Apple want to force people to stay on the latest release as a policy, or whether they don't want to spend the time writing and testing code to regress your data / backups etc. which is what they would need to do if they supported downgrading.
My guess is both, but that's just my opinion as I have no objective evidence to say for sure.

What's with this?, I can't get into my original thread on this from my email notification. There is a lengthily discussion on not being able to downgrade to ios5?
