when you go to the furthest left page of an iPhone to search through the iPhone and I type in a word old texts appear that I've deleted before, how do I get rid of them?
Restoring the phone as NEW is the only way to remove all traces of the texts.
What so they'll stay on there forever wasting memory?
Do they also appear in the search field within the Messages app? If so, then they have NOT been deleted.
Ah I've deleted them all from messages, but on the search on the far left
Of the phone it still shows us
it'll go away on its own as you get newer messages. think of it as a recycle search bin for deleted messages. it'll have a finite space which will be used for other legitimate stuff like apps or music if the need arises. dont worry about it.
