Not through any easy setting. It may be done in Terminal but it's a fairly technical procedure. The icons themselves will naturally be quite large so I don't think you're experiencing anything odd. Care to advise what size yours are so we can confirm? Mine are probably about an inch or so across...

It is easy. Go to Preference/ Dock and set the size slider to the size you want.

That changes the size of the icons in the dock - the OP is looking to change the size in Launchpad.
Unfortunately not - I actually submitted a bug report and asked if the icon size could be made a user option - Apple's reply was that it was "working as expected".

Thanks for the reply UKoC. You are close on the size. I would say they are about an inch to an inch and a half in width and only seven across the row. They just seem quite large on my display and I figured there would be an easy way. I kept thinking I just had to be missing the way for adjusting them since everything else seems to be so easy to personalize. Funny thing is that I have watched an online tutorial twice now on Apple's web site showing Launchpad and the icons shown there are smaller and more of them. I just thought I was missing the fix somehow. Thanks for confirming this.
