I need to add time in numbers. I am used to working in Ecxel, but want to learn Numbers.

I am setting up a work sheet with IN (Ex. 07:00 AM) to OUT (Ex. 17:00 PM).

Whats the formula for this?

Appreciate all answers and even for more complicated formulars.

    I assume (because you didn't provide specific guidance) that you want to subtract the two times as:

    Out - In = the duration someone worked.

    C2=B2-A2

    there are some compilcations with this but I will present the simplest solution first then we can discuss other options

    Thank you for the swift answer.

    Here is the way I set up my hour list.

    I tried the formula you gave me, but without luck...

    Do you have any other advice on this set up?

    change your formula in cell D2 to be "=C2-B2"

    the notation:

    D2=C2-B2 means

    in cell D2 put the formula:

    "=C2-B2"

    just so you know.... ALL formulas must start with an "=".  The way to think about it is the contents of a cell is "=" to the formula that follows the "=" sign
