iMessage isn't working

On my iPad and my iPod, I've tried sending a message in each device to my friends, and it wasn't sending, so I logged out, and logged in again, and it's saying incorrect password please try again, so I changed both passwords for both apple ids for my iPad and iPod and when I signed in again it's saying the same again, incorrect password. I've seen a lot of discussions about iMessage in the last hour about problems about it, I've even software updated on each device, and still nothing, and I've even tried making new accounts but its still saying incorrect password. What is up with I message?
