To achieve this, all you need to do is upload the contents of your site folder and NOT the whole folder itself to your host/server. It is the site folder that gives you the site name and this is perfectly normal practice for iWeb to do this, but to get rid of it, you just upload the contents and that is it, so if you are using iWeb 08 as it says that you are, then publish from iWeb to a local folder and then use Cyberduck, Yummy Ftp or whatever you are using and upload just the contents of your site folder rather than the whole folder itself.

Here's some info about removing the folder name from the URL...
Note the warning and also the fact that this is not required since visitors only need to enter this in the browser to get to your home page...

Thanks. I have a follow up question now. Is there anyway to remove the ".html" from showing up as well? :-)

.html is the page file extension!
