HT1414: Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

Learn about Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

HT1414 I've had the iphone 5 for 2 months & the battery is draining unusually fast. I know all the tips to keep it from draining, i.e. close out apps in the bckgrnd. I'm performing a full restore to see if it helps. Anyone else having this issue?

i know all of the tips to help save battery life. i.e. closing out all running apps in the background, not using vibrate, allowing the battery to fullly die & then recharge...etc.

i backed up all of my iphone 5 data onto icloud AND itunes & am performing a restore---hopefully this will work. has anyone else tried this & it worked? if not, what did you do? i've had the iphone 5 for ONLY 2 MONTHS!!! ***?
