My ical has just lost everything - no calendar lists, no entries, nothing.

Macbook OSX 10.6.8

I've tried to follow similar threads on ths subject but with no luck. The Applications Support folder does not contain ical - maybe this is a software version difference from what I've read elsewhere?

I do have a month old backup on an external drive (the latest one was evidently after the calendar loss) but don't know how to restore it - new to Macs but would prefer to recover what has disappeared.

Any ideas?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

You should have a folder Calendars in your Home folder's Library. Is it there? What happens across a restart? What happens if you delete the com.apple.ical.plist from Preferences in your Home folder's Library?
