I don't know of a way to do it automatically, but you could go to Faces and select a person, then select the photos of that person and then Export (File > Export > type their name in the custom name field) with the rest of the filename (if desired) after that.
It would be a royall pain form 400 people, but it would be better than doing then one photo at a time for each person.

Your described method it what I am going to do if there is no other solution.
I have grouped these people by departments (Folder) and then inside each department folder created Smart Albums, one album per person and gave it a name by person's name and surname, every file that is post-processed and ready to be exported has green label.
Automatic solution would allow me to select all smart albums, chose export, and have all it exported to correct places.

You can export face info into keywords, which I believe is Aperture's default. With some command line hackery using exiftool, there's got to be a way to extract that keyword and pipe it to the mv (or cp) command to rename the file. Don't have time to fully extrapolate on that process, but if you have some Terminal experience, it's a place to start.
