I am using with a set of icloud calendars synced to phone and ipad via icloud but also have a calendar "on my computer" that I sync with outlook for reasons I am about to explain.

In mail I have an additional email account I use for business related things.  I wish to use this for meeting invitations with other business people which can be done easily in outlook because in outlook the meeting invite brings up the email (for added comments) and there it is easy to change which account is being used to send the actual invite (ics file).

If someone sends a meeting invite to my "work" (non icloud) email account it goes into calendar however the acceptance email uses my icloud email and the same problem with creating meeting invites.

I have set up this cludge which is undesirable and forcing me to keeo outlook going just for meetings.

In outlook as well as mail I have both sets of emails set up.

In outlook I can create a meeting which goes "to my computer" and thanks to outlook sync services goes into too.

Thus a person at the other end receives the meeting invite from my "work" email and not my icloud email.

The problem with this is the calendar does not appear on my iphone or ipad so I have to create a duplicate separately.

If I just used mail and calendar then invites I accept and invites I send go out using my icloud account. is much better for CALDAV accounts I also have so I want to stick to calendar which syncs across all my devices nicely.

Now I am in a situation where receiving a meeting invite while on the road I cannot accept from my phone because it will use icloud and not let me select or at least use the email account that it was received on.

It is weird for people to send and invite to my work email and receive the response from my private email.

Sorry so long explaining but the bottom line is can I change the default email used to send invites and accept invites in mail/calendar or at least force it to bring up the actual email itself so I can change the account that is used?
