Anyone else having these issues?
What does that matter? Would it simply make you feel better? It certainly will not resolve the issue.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Why are you even responding if you are just going to be an a**? That is a common question on here if you dont like it dont readd. And I know basic troubleshooting smart a** and it keeps happening or I wouldnt have posted. Must be hard to be such an all knowing superior being to the rest of us that you feel you can be rude for no reason. Thank you so much for your condensendinh attitude. My day is complete.

So happy I could make the day of such an inferior creature.
For future reference, when asking for help, it's generally better to be less of a donkey and provide as many details about the issue(s) that are occurring and what has been done to resolve them.
Otherwise, we start with the basics as many posting here do not attempt the basics prior to asking questions.
If you have gone through all the basic troubleshooting, including restoring as new, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

Never had any problems before but guess most people on here are not egomaniac idiots like you. You seriously need to try not being such a rude person. I did nothing to you and you proceeded to treat me like I personally did insulted you. Please do not answer what few posts I choose to place on here if you cannot try to be a decent human being or at least provide a shred of usuable information. You know nothing about me and to act the way you did is nothing but rude, inconsiderate, and completely unneccesary. I am done with you and your ridiculous attitude.

Apparently, touchscreen non-responsiveness is an issue that can occur on some iPhone 5's. http://www.ibtimes.com/apple-iphone-5-problems-touch-screen-glitch-causes-freezi ng-slow-scrolling-867976
I have also recently noticed this issue in my iPhone. I received my Verizon iPhone 5 on Wednesday Nov. 7th. The issue did not crop up right away. I am still happy with my iPhone. My problem usually occurs while making a phone call. It seems the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. I can't end the call! The homebutton still works so I can go back to the home. But it doesn't do any good because nothing else responds to my touch. One time I did a hard reboot and that solved the problem. I also noticed that another possible way for me to resolve the issue is to lock the screen so it goes dark. Then press the top button so it lights up while dark. The slider seems to then be responsive and everything works fine. It's happened only maybe three times on my phone since I got it about 10 days ago, so currently I am not that bothered by it. It seems-- just guessing here-- like it's probably a software issue because rebooting or locking the phone seems to bring the screen back to life. Hopefully Apple will take a look at this issue. I have noticed that sometimes my screen does engage in glitches like stuttering and shaking of images as well. The main app I've noticed it doing this is Bejewled, the Diamond Mine game. As a level is completed and the level moves to the next stage, the images become "jittery" and stutter in a glitch.....
But like I say, I've seen worse versions of this problem. People have posted videos on YouTube about it and some are much worse than what I have. I don't know what percentage of phones has it. That would be interesting to know, although Apple will never tell us that. Bottom line to answer your question: this problem is out there in various frms and yes I've experienced it.
Oh and also, I can confirm from reading the thread that diesel vdub above needs a lessons in manners. He does seem like a total tool bag.
