I had loads of trouble the last 24 hrs with this. I found logging into iTunes with correct apple ID (make sure it's an e-mail style one), then sync your iPhone 5. After this I went back into my iPhone 5, Settings, iTunes & App Stores, touched Apple ID and then it asked various options. I then added in my correct Apple ID and went from there. Hope that helps...took me ages to get it sorted.
