If I were to buy a new iPad from the Netherlands, would the warranty be valid in the UK, and would there be any other issues?

Thanks in advance.

iPad's warranty is only local coverage. That means that if you need servicing in the UK, you could bring it into an Apple Retail Store or Authorised Service Centre and get service, but you most likely need to pay for it.

No, Apple service is serve globally. you could buy iDevices anywhere and get service coverage in almost anywhere. No other issues i think.

i bought an ipad 2 in malaysia in august 2012, i brought it to China, i dropped the device and can't get back the screen, i call Apple Care in China, he said he will not support, service or repair though the international hardware warranty still valid til 19th August 2013.
