In the "original" App Store, one could find lists of newly released

apps in a very clear and straight forward way.  Then along came

iOS 6 and browsing for new apps became a circuitous route

to get to the list.

Now recently, the list no longer exists and is replaced by

"New and Noteworthy" which now only lists 20 apps, the

majority of which have been around for ages.

So now, how does one find that new app that provides

some solution or convenience that was previously unknown?

The other issue with this "improvement" of the App Store is

it gives less or no exposure to new app developers.
