From your post, it seems that one of your problems is that your iPhone
no longer sees your sim. That sounds like your iPhone had previously
been modified/hacked/jailbroken and is now relocked to the original
carrier. What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?

i am not sure but i have restored the iphone using itunes. Now i can see setting - > carrier - -> my current network which i am using. Maps not at all working , when i try to search for any location it sayd " direction no available .....".
How can i sync my sim contact to phone. Could you suggest me this as well.

Where are you located? Maps may not be available at your location.
If you have a sim from a previous non-iPhone, you can import the contacts.
iOS does not store information on the sim.
You might want to look through the manual. There is a link in Safari on your
iPhone or you can go directly there via

I am located in Bangalore-india. Few of my friends are using same mobile and they can able to use maps with out any problem. Without maps i cant imagine this mobile because i'll use maps like any thing.
If i reach out to apple i store will they help me to reloading OS??
Could you please provide the steps how to import contact to iphone from sim.
Note: The phone bought in usa, Using in inida.
