In IOS5 my Iphone always remembered the WPA passcode for my home Wifi Router whenever I turned the Wifi on, in Settings. Now I have upgraded to IOS6, and every time I come home from work I have to manually put in my home Wifi code. So how can I get it to remember the code so that I don't have to?

Try a reset. Hold down Power and Home button until Apple logo appears. Then release and wait to reboot.

The reset does not change or delete anything.

Sure you can try to forget and add again. Maybe  this helps.

Yes, try forgetting the network. Then reboot the router and try to connect again. If the problem persists go to Settings/General/Reset - Reset Network Settings. You will not lose any data, but you will have to re-enter any WiFi passwords.

I am using WPA2 Personal on my router. Have you tried changing that setting?

I went into my router settings and changed my router channel setting from auto to one of the 11 channels to choose from and that seemed to fix the issue of my iPhone remembering my router and password.  Something in the ios6 software doesn't allow it to remember any other way.  All I know is it worked and I can stay connected

It is a software issue but the fix with the phone not wanting to stay connected to a router can be fixed through the router settings.  You have to get into your router settings and make sure that you change your broadcast channel to one single channel.  Then reconnect to the router that should fix the dropping of wifi.  I have seen a lot of posts on this and did not experience any issue until my router settings were reset after messing around with the phone restoring and trying all the fixes I went back into the settings on my router and noticed my broadcast channel was set on auto I changed that and so far no drop on wifi in 36 hrs.  It is a software issue though that apple programmers need to address.
