I have just had a NextG Wireless Link installed as my phone/internet connection in a rural area in Aus (purely wireless connections). I have a WAN port and a few LAN ports on the NextG modem/router. The iMac has only one LAN ethernet port. The TC has several plus a WAN port. If I plug the new modem into the only LAN port on the iMac I can't connect the iMac to the TC other than by wireless, which I know is slow having used a plug in portable modem previously. Can I connect the WAN port on the modem to the WAN port on the TC, then connect the iMac LAN port to the TC LAN port? Or is there a better solution? Someone has suggested some kind of switching device...

With thanks for a hopeful answer.
