    Hi

    Most probably.

What Mac OS - do You use

What Mac do You have (made when)

    and

Do You have iLife'09 or iLife'11

There are NO FREE upgrades anywhere - so upgrade

    • within version is free e.g. iMovie 08 (v7) 7.1.2 to version 7.1.4
    • to next no: - one has to buy the iLife version one needs

Even though Apple do not sell iLife'09 any more - it has to be bought and most probably as second-handed. Try e-bay or Amazon

May be I would go for the boxed version of iLife'11 and iMovie'11 if Your Mac and OS can work with it.

    Yours Bengt W

I have osx 10.5.8 and I dont have ilife

    OK - Then You can't .

There are no legal free up-grades to next version no:. You'll have to buy

    • iLife'09 or iLife'11 (Amazon or e-bay) - or -

    • buy iMovie 11 from Appler - but then You also need to run Mac OS X.6 and eventually get a newer Mac as it must be an INTEL one.

    Yours Bengt W
