Here is senario 2 : Upgrading Calenders ( if I get so far ) - nothing happends - even leaving them for houres.

Here is Senario 3 : The sever responded with an error - ICal couldn't connect to

Make sure you're connected to the Internet, and then try agian later.

Well im sure im connected to the internet. Talk to the Danish Apple support, they suggested it was a (apple)server problem... is it ? because then its meaning less sitting here and pulling my hair out. Then I just can hope it will get fixed soon.

DO ANYONE have the same problem or know how to fixit... ?? Im a MAC lover, geek and a woman , but this one I just cant fix.

Thanks in advance

    Hi there Julie.

Did you figure it out what's is causing the problem? I'm having the same problem now. And i have no clue how to solve it.

I'm having the same problem as well.  See this thread

Were you ever able to come up with a fix for this?  It sounds like problems at Apple's end, but it is very frustrating nevertheless since it is critical that I be able to see my wife's shared calendars with the amount of time we spend apart traveling.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Finally, success.  Some time today on my iMac started working properly again.  My wife's shared calendar events are showing up, the program no longer hangs with the error message "can't connect to", events created on upload to and then out to my iOS devices as well.  I wish I knew what had been done by the iCloud engineers to make this work, but I'm happy that I finally have a working calendar back together.  I have just sent an email to the senior Apple tech who has been my contact through this asking him if he could provide me with any additional information on what fixed the problem, and if I learn anything more, I'll post it.

I agree. I had someone helping me over here as well. All we did was to make sure all the info from the Icloud was exactly the same in all the devices, like time zone and all that stuff.
