Dearest Apple,

I start this letter this way because I REALLY love this company and its products.  I also get EXCELLENT care when I need it,  however, yesterday, this was not the case.  In September of this year, I purchased 3 "brand new" iPhone 4S models.  We had no problems with the phones until a recent soda spill sent us to the Apple Store in Orland Park, IL.  The volume  bar on the screen was not showing up, and there was no sound for the apps or music.  We had purchased Apple Care with these phones and were hoping to get the phone fixed.  We got to the store, the tech opened the phone, and told us that third party repairs had been done to this phone.  WE HAD NEVER TAKEN THE PHONE IN TO BE WORKED ON!  Plus, with Apple Care, why would we get it serviced by someone else?  We took the phone back to Target in Tinley Park, IL where we purchased it, and we were sent back to the Apple Store.  Same story there too....they could not help us.  I am so disappointed in Apple right now.  Not because of the service, but because you have not instituted any way of protecting your customers from bad phones coming from distribution.  Please look into this and try to protect your customers from dishonest employees or bad distributors.  It is unfair to honest people who try to do the right things, and who spend their hard earned money on your products, only to find them faulty before they have even gotten them home.  I hope that you will be able to help us.  I have a photo of the inside of the phone if this helps in any way as well.  Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience but you are not addressing Apple here. We are all users here just like you. Please use the following link to give Apple feedback or navigate to the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page to contact Apple.

    Best of luck

Your problem is with Target and that is where your anger/disappointment

should be directed. Apple has no control over Target's distribution

system nor what the employees of Target do. I suggest you contact

the corporate offices of Target and pursue your complaint there. Your

local media outlets might also be interested in the story.
