I suggest you to use a scanner from one of the supplier of Ram like this one http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/MacOS.aspx
How much RAM do you have now in your Mac ?
I imagine you have 2 pieces of 4 GB each.
Your Mac has 4 slots, therefore 2 are empty. And you can buy only 2 x 4GB to reach 16 and keep yours.
I had a quick look to the link and they seem to be 2 x 8 GB each. therefore you will go to 24. (it is possible to have 2x4 + 2x8GB)

Thanks for your fast reply !
Yeah a friend gave me this URL too, but it's more expensive, like 8GB for 40Euros on Crucial, on Amazon it's 16GB for 57$ (43Euros)... Half price and Corsair is a very good brand (For PC, for Mac I don't know...)
If I buy on Curcial I won't be able to buy 32
And no, I have 4 pieces, 2GB each so 8GB of RAM total.

Sorry Jessycd, I'm late now with my answer.
I understand your point. I suggested the Crucial SW just to run a test. You can run it and take note of the detailed description of RAM and then buy according to price and convenience.
I found good prices in Switzerland at Media Markt or Media World.. dont remember the right name they change according to the country here in Europe.

Yes, thanks again.
Of course I did the test ! lol
But I don't know what specs are important, and even what they are !
For exemple, on the Amazon thing the reference is :
DDR3 SODIMM Memory Kit (CMSO16GX3M2A1333C9)
DDR3 SODIMM is ok, I see "1333" but on Chipmunk they say "DDR3-S-1333", I see "1333" in all those numbers, but what is the "S" ? Is it important ?
Chipmunk also says "204-pin", what is it ? I don't see any "pin" thing on Amazon !
I wrote to a seller of this item on Amazon, this mother f$cker answered me "I don't know. Don't buy if you are not sure"
I'm about to send an email to Corsair directly. That's crazy you can't have an answer on Amazon...
Ps : I will watch the shop you mentionned, thanks !

the link on amazon shows
Format: SO-DIMM PIN OUT: 204
crucial will sell you 4 x 8GB, but it doesn't show on the recommended list since presumably Apple say 16 maximum. OWC say 32GB is ok : http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/iMac/2010/DDR3_21.5_27

& Corsair's site shows this, for the same part number as amazon

Yeah great ! Thanks Andy ! I didn't find that "About" page ! Amazon looks very unclear to me...
I didn't see the Corsair's website detailed specs but I visited that page.
So I guess it will be great !
You think it's a good deal ?
I couldn't find anything cheaper + Corsair is a very good brand (Regarding PC at least, don't know for Mac) + Lifetime warranty...
Thank you very much !
