Nov 26, 2012 4:08 AM in response to lmaclarenby tzbikowski,Hi,
Have you tried to update Apple TV yet? (5.1)
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1600
Some users reported that they needed to reset all settings on Apple TV after the 5.1 update.
Apple TV menu / General.
Please let me know if this all has been done and we will take it from there.

Nov 26, 2012 4:16 AM in response to tzbikowskiby lmaclaren,Not sure what version I am up to but presume it is 5.1 as I did searh for an update on Saturday when it was all working ok and it said none was available.
I am now not able to operate Apple TV/access the settings due to the continuous flickering.
I have tried resetting - disconnected power for 1 minute and also held down Down and Menu button on remote for 10 seconds.

Nov 26, 2012 6:16 AM in response to lmaclarenby tzbikowski,One more thing you should try is to hook up the Apple TV (and/or) iMac on the Eth cable directly to the router.
Thsi will eliminate WiFi bandwidth issue. Please report back if you can test it this way.
