Upon performing a browser security check the Qualys browser tool detected Java version 1.6.0.33 still in my system. This actually showed up while checking Firefox 17. Java does not appear at all in Safari or Chrome.

Of course all steps to eliminate Java have been taken. I've not had Java on my system since before Lion came out. I realize this may just be an anomaly inherent to the Qualys checker but IMHO one can never be to safe online. Since installing Lion then Mountain Lion both fresh installs this Java crap should not be showing up. Yet that is way I'm asking for guidance from others who I'm certain are far more intelligent about such matters.

Where else does one check for any pieces of Java on my system?

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
