How do you turn off automatic resizing of objects? I'm using Pages with a table. I'd like to add blank table rows at the end of the table to fill out a partial page. Whenever I add them, Pages (stupidly) resizes all the previous rows. I found a help item to turn off automatic resizing (Pages > Preferences > General...deselect "Automatice move objects when tables resize." But it doesn't exist!! There is no line like that to deselect on the General Pane. Yes, this has truly been a "GENERAL PAIN" for me. What can I do? Is there no way to stop the automatic resizing?

I'm using Pages '09, version 4.1 (923).

Pages, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    Mike,

I think you may be mixing some Numbers features with Pages features. In Pages, the feature you are looking for is in the Table Inspector.
