Q: need to change my email id on i phone 3--suggestions please

Could someone pleae tell me how to change my ID on my I phone. I cannot log in with the old email, nor can I receive my updates. Greatly appreciate any help that someone might have, greatfully thanks.

    If you mean your Apple ID for purchasing, go to Settings>Store, tap the ID, sign out, sign back in with the other ID.  Note: App updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them originally so you will still be prompted for this ID when updating these apps regardless of whether or not you are currently using it for purchasing.
