You should also ask this in the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air forums. This is the forum for the white and black plastic MacBooks that were discontinued in 2010. You should also post this question there to increase your chances of getting an answer.

MacBook Airs have SDD harddrives , which are really fast.
I recommend to watch reviews from youtube before buying a new computer.
Also you should Google about the problems that you might face in the future. For example, I have a MacBook from 2008 and had no idea it's corpus will randomly break. So I have to take it to Apple Store always and they'll fix it. Luckily they do it for free, because it's not my fault, but sometimes I have to wait like 4 days, which is annoying and if you need to study or do work, then it is annoying.

I've basically watched every single unboxing/review videos there was on youtube. I just can't pick, but I think now I'm starting to lean towards the Pro side, just cause it has more storage and things like that!
