If I'm reading your post correctly, the problem could be that Aperture was moved instead of reinstalled, which could cause registration issues. You could try deleting, reinstalling, re-registering, then upgrading Aperture again in that case.
There could also be a problem with the file that holds the serial info. This is stored in a file called ProAppsSystemID, which is stored in /Library/Application Support/ProApps. Quit Aperture, and navigate to this folder from your main hard drive, then move the ProAppsSystemID file to the trash. Restart your machine, then re-register Aperture and see if it works correctly, and let us know whether or not it does.
None of this should affect your data in any way, although you should always have a backup just in case.

ice cubes all over the floor, TV's and everything electrical fried, you get the idea.
I get the idea, what a story!
But if you want protection for your data, unplugging alone will not help, in such a case. You will need a second backup at a different location. Perhaps store your most important image files in the cloud for an additional backup.
What is your Aperture version? The most recent version 3.4.3 is supposed to fix a bug related to registration number issues.

Thanks for the feedback.
I can find every disk I have ever owned except for the original aperture purchase and the disk for ap3. Go figure. I found their empty boxes. I must have, in my infinite wisdom, put them together somewhere. Hence, I can't reinstall which was my goal for everything I had: a fresh reinstall.
I did move over the app from time machine. I figured that was the issue. I wonder if I have to pay another $79 if I can't find the disks or if apple can see that I have purchased two copies at premium price. I am running the latest version.
I don't know if the latest version of everything is always the best thing. I can't send out email yet once again. I sent through this about one month ago where I lost the ability to send out email. I can receive, but not send. iCloud is goofy.
I have every thing apple: iCloud, iPhones, macs, and continuing problems. Sigh.
I do use backblaze for my cloud backup
Have to get into work...

If you still have the Aperture 3 registration numbers, you can reinstall Aperture from the Trial version. This support article describes how to reinstall, and contains a link to the Aperture Trial:
If you decide to reinstall, it is important to run Software update immediately after the Trial installation - don't try to launch Aperture first. This cannot succeed, since your Aperture Library will be of a newer version than the Trial.

apples website says it is no longer available.
Yes, it has been discontinued, but is still available for trouble shooting. That is why I pointed to the other link on the trouble shooting page to reinstall: Aperture 3.4: May quit unexpectedly on launch after updating
Procede like described in the last paragraph and download here: Aperture 3.1 Trial

One more thing, just to be clear. If you want to run Aperture by reinstalling from a Time Machine backup, you cannot make a clean install. Aperture needs many items from the system library. You would need to transfer your previous installation by having the Setup Assistant transfering the libraries and Applicaqtions as well. Transfering the Aperture application alone is not sufficient. You will need to run the Aperture installer, to install necessary frameworks and configuration files.

I am most humbled and grateful for your kindness and patience. I have gotten Ap 3.4.3 to work as it should. Thank you SO much!
