To sync photos to the iPad, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If you have your photos in SkyDrive then there is also a SkyDrive app which you can use to copy photos from it to the Camera Roll album in the Photos app.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

King_Penguin I want to say you so very much for your advice I read it and followed your instructions and after a little bit I was able to transfer my photos that I wanted instead of the entire 1500 photos on my computer lol. After reading the other page you sent me I also figured out how to make a separate folder and put the photos I wanted ( 250 of them) and the rest was a breeze. Again Thank You So Very Much.

King_Penguin I forgot to mention that I did have the SkyDrive however there were no photos in it nor anything else because I had just downloaded it from my mail carrier lol lol. However I think I should get some type of APP to use incase I should ever want to acess it from somewhere else and can not get into my files. I think though I will look into that Drop Box and see what that is all about. Also I do have ICloud now because it came with my IPAD so I will have to look into that one as well. Again I Thank You

I sent you a Thank You very much for taking the time to try and help me. However it did not work one because I did not take those photos with my camera. Also I did not have an APP for a camera connection either. I tried your information but it did not help me. I just want to say Thank You and I was lucky because another Gentleman named King_Penguinn gave me the information and step by step and it solved my problem immediately. I am new here and this was my very first time to ask for help. I still don't know my way around and what to do here lol I think I gave you the credit for solving my problem lol lol when it was King_Penguinn and I clicked on that he Helped me and that was not what I should have said. lol because I saw after that points are given to people that help you fix your problems. I hope that he gets his 10 points and I still think you should get 5 points for taking your time to help me out. I 've Got It Now lol lol
