Emails disappearing

I just got a new iphone 5 and my emails are disappearing.

    What is the account type - Exchange, IMAP, or POP, and are you also accessing the account with an email client on your computer?

    I'm having the same issue, only accessing my sky emails from my phone but it appears to be deleting my inbox emails after 7 days without prompting me.

    I have it setup as imap.

    Can anyone help?

    There is no setting for this with an IMAP account with the iPhone's Mail app or with any other email client that I'm aware of.

     

    There is a mail days to sync setting available with an Exchange account for server stored mailboxes, but not with an IMAP account.

     

    Any setting for removing messages from the server with an IMAP account will be available when accessing the account via webmail access using a browser.

    Hi Allan, I've just had a look at my sky email settings through the browser and there doesn't appear to be an option that I can select.

    My emails aren't appearing in my sky email at all but I can see them in Outlook on the PC. After looking at skymail though on the PC all my inbox emails have now just disappeared off my phone! Really frustrating...

    Not to worry, I can still access them via outlook and I'll just have to live with only seeing a week's worth on my phone until I can find a solution!

    Are you accessing the account as an IMAP account with Outlook as well?

     

    It doesn't sound like you are and if not, there lies your problem.
