My iphone connects to my car everytime I get in and that's great.  But, when I'm not in my car I'd like to use an earpiece but I can't install it without un-installing my car bluetooth.  Can I have both installed and then select the one I want to use?

Yes. You don't even have to select which one you want to use. Why do you think you can't set up your headset without un-installing the pairing for the car? Just set it up. I have 4 different bluetooth devices paired with mine. My car, a headset I keep at home, a headset I keep at the office, and my wife's car.

    It works just fine.
