I have OSX vs 10.5.8 and am about to upgrade to OSX Snow Leopard. I have backed up everything on to Time Machine via an external hard drive. How do I get everything back onto my computer after the new OS is installed?

It is a good idea to have performed the backup, but nothing gets erased with an OS X upgrade, so there will be no need to retrieve anything from the backup.

A Time Machine backup enables you to change your mind and revert to Leopard should you so choose.

Unless you erase the drive, everything will remain as is except for system components unnecessary in 10.6. If you do, use Migration Assistant to restore your data from the backup.
