Nov 28, 2012 11:00 PM in response to Insomniac0007by babowa,Here is an excerpt from the license agreement:
2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions. This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Apple Software on a single computer at a time. This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time.
You can download the entire SLA here:

Nov 29, 2012 5:43 AM in response to Insomniac0007by Frank Caggiano,I'm guessing that just for the heck of it you tried the key on the Dell and it didn't work, right?
In that case as we are all just users like yourself no one here can answer the question. You should get in touch with Apple and see if there is anything they can do for you.

Try 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273) as a start. Who knows you might get someone having a good day and get lucky.
