I saw some folks had this problem last year. I have tried every solution that worked for them, with no luck.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both iTunes and Overdrive, I have made iTunes the default player for every thing. I did a restore on my iPod.

I have been using Overdrive for at least 4 years and seldom had a problem.  now it has been months since I was able to borrow an audiobook from the library.

I will try anything suggested.  someone please help. the mesage says Overdrive can not connect to iTunes, and goes on to tell me that I need 9. something or newer. since I have the most recent version, I do not know what else to do.

since this computer has Windows 8, Overdrive say it must be someone elses fault.
