the inbox to my yahoo account is not working. I know it is not Yahoo! because I can view my inbox from safari or a regular computer. I tried changing my password, restarting my phone, closing all my old apps, and I cannot get it to work. Please help!

Did you update to 6.0.1? That's worked for me. Otherwise search google to find how to setup Yahoo mail manually. (Select "other" to create the account instead Yahoo.

you didnt mention deleting the account and re-adding it.

and what is not working? can you not send mail, receive it, or both?

Yahoo has dozens (if not hundreds) of mail servers. The server you hit from your browser is not necessarily the same server you will hit from a mobile device.

    Their servers are notoriously bad.

All you can really do is wait. While you're waiting, create a gmail account.
