I downloaded Windows 8 64-bit  from my technet subscription for my MacBook Pro Retina. Everything with smoothly until tried to connect to the internet. The error said that the network driver wasn't installed or didn't exist. The troubleshooting options don't really help, because they require the computer to be connected to the Internet. I'm assuming it's because bootcamp isn't fully ready for Windows 8 with missing drivers and such. I've looked all over the internet for a driver available to download to directly install to Windows. Any help would be greatly appreicated!

You can look all you want, but there are no Windows 8 compatible drivers. Wipe your install and wait for Apple to release them, which could take months. It took them 3 months to provide drivers for Windows 7.

Are any of the drivers installed? Or are you just missing the Wireless ones? Did you upgrade from Win7 to Win8? Or was it a clean install. Some of the drivers should work in Win8. Try repairing your BootCamp drivers if you have them installed already.

While this is sometimes true, it is often not true, but it is worth a try.

Download the Windows Support Software (in Boot Camp Assistant) and install it again.
