Dec 9, 2012 1:02 PM in response to bongzki_02by seanrez,This worked for me too! Thanks bongzki_02!
Pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons together for about five seconds (until the Apple logo appears) totally resets it.
I was so disappointed before I found this solution. I thought I'd have to return it!

Jul 8, 2013 3:21 PM in response to kssmedeadlyby DigitalDataConsumer,Thank you very much.
The solution is also working for me.
Description of the problem:
Nano 7 does not switch on.
Nano 7 does appear on iTunes when connecting nano 7 to PC via USA cable.
Solution:
Press and hold ''Home button'' + ''ON/OFF button'' simultaneously until apple logo appears on the screen of nano 7 (in my case, 8 seconds of pressing are necessary).
