How do I transfer a photo already downloaded on Iphoto onto a memory card which will be inserted into a photo frame?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

File -> Export and export it to the desktop. Then attach the memory canrd and drag the image to it.

but they are not showing up on the card

When viewed in the Finder? Or when viewed on the frame?

How many photos do you have on your card?  Those PC formatted memory cards only allow a limited of files to be in the root directory of the card.  It's best to put the photos in a folder, name it Pictures, and add the folder to the memory card.  That worked best for me in my frame.
