Verizon iPhone 5 Exchange mail not synchronizing

I recently purchased this iPhone 5 OS 6.0.1 and noticed that my Exchange email account does not work (can't send or receive emails).  When setting up the account everything validates.  I am IT at my company and I have read previous posts about "temporary fixes"; which none work.  I had my iPhone 4 OS 6.0.1 and my Exchange email worked fine until I got the iPhone 5.  It seems to be Verizon specific issue because my boss has an iPhone 5 with AT&T and I was able to setup his Exchange email perfectly fine when we received it 3 weeks ago. 


Please advise ASAP! I need Exchange to work on iPhone 5.
