Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, when using GarageBand '11 and loading a SoundFont via DSL the application crashes no matter what SoundFont I load.

They all worked on my old G5 iMac so I know they're OK.

Come on Apple, you've got a good product here, please investigate this problem and issue an update with a fix.

I know from looking at other forums that I'm not alone in suffering this problem.

Please get it sorted!!

GarageBand (Mac) '11, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

I have this same problem and it is really anoying. As someone who really likes GarageBand, this is disappointing. It will not work on my MacBook Pro (mid 2009). When I go to the side menu in GarageBand to load a custom soundfont, it always crashes.

    PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!

I have the same problem, although if you open the window where you select your soundfont but don't close it (i.e. it won't save a preset) then the application plays it as normal. It sounds like a problem with the current OS version given that it seems to have worked on older OSs.

Hello friends. Really pitiful. I paid $ 4000 dolars ($ 9,000 reais in Brazil) for a MacBook Pro that everytime I try to load a soundfont, this closes the GB.

    We'll see until when ...

    Mt Lion 10.8.4

Ola amigos. Realmente lamentavel. Paguei $4.000 dolares ( R$9.000 no Brasil) por um MacBook Pro em que toda vez que tento carregar uma soundfont, isto encerra o GB.

    Vamos ver ate quando...

    Mt Lion 10.8.4
