iTunes 11 is a BIG MISTAKE! Cover Flow was a main reason for using iTunes - and now it's gone. The old interface was much better and a 100 times faster and more intuitive to use. Can anyone recommend a good alternative to iTunes?

Not liking this new iTunes11. always starts with the 'want to see how this works' thing, never remembers the settings I want.
Good thing I always download iTunes rather than upgrade from inside it, so have a copy of the previous version which I'm going to remove iTunes and install the previous version then ignore the 'a new version is available'.
Apple, why the change, it isn't clever and it isn't liked.
Microsoft do the same for Win8 please, bin the lego front end of RT.

I started downloading it, then went to the apple site and one look at the new interface was all it took, I immediately canceled the download. It looks like a POS, They royally screwed up the interface. I will stick with itunes 10 until they fix that mess.

Definitely not the only one; I usually have a pretty open mind to software changes, but the changes in 11 have a bunch of tiny things that get on my nerves (little things like deleting a song from a playlist and iTunes not automatically playing the next song drives me crazy).
Not sure what I'm hoping for at this point, I couldn't even restore back to 10 properly so that's becoming a headache as well. SIGHHH.

Agree, Apple please stop acting like Microsoft and releasing half-baked software on your loyal customer base. My loyalty was tested with the iPad mini and has been gutted with iTunes 11. Regretting the upgrade a lot. Very poor form.

11 is such a piece of crap, itunes have either removed and many functions that they are blind and have issued a system with so many bugs they are incompetant.
The new one is just a huge piece of crap.
Give me back 10.7 or whatever it was previously and let me have a library which is suited to me not some designer who reinvented the wheel by turning it into a hexagon.
Have sent feedback to itunes about how crap this is.

Well! All your comments don't help me solve my problem, but they at least make me feel a little better!
Smart move to download new versions instead of insalling directly when prompted. I'll remember to do this from now on.
But this time it's too late. And I tried to uninstall the new iTunes and reinstall iTunes 10 but it didn't work. I got an error message and now iTunes won't open at all... !
I really hope that Apple employees reed these posts. And I hope they fix this problem soon. Because I don't even know if there is any other way to manage iPods and iPads.

I can't stress enough how much I hate this version and I'm feeling as though Apple has forced me into a complete os reinstall just to solve this problem. I've spent hours with it and am convinced that it is the most counterintuitive piece of dog sh+t I've seen from this company which, btw, hasn't let me down once since '07 when I bought my first Mac. So ******.
