You are not addressing Apple hee. We are all just users like yourself. To make a suggestion to Apple go here:

Just curious, but what are you smoking/drinking/taking?

Smoking/drinking/taking!?!? the guy has a point and right on the money!

If they continue to release IOS upgrades they should do with the knowledge that people do own own "legacy" products. They should release versions of upgrades based on hardware for legacy or at least give products a sell by date, i.e not supported on X gen...But no, it is a blanket release.

Honestly, posted in another thread, but sincerley hope MS release a Touch version of the Surface. Apple where once pioneers, they are now dictators. Seriously IIIaas wake up and smell the coffee!

Basically the same reason older computers can't update to Mountain Lion.

A device can only go so far.

Some Windows computes can't go beyond Windows '95 or '98 etc.

Correct Joseph but at least I get a explanation prior or a prerequisite of the new OS and/or any App I CHOOSE (can't empahsise that word enough) to install.

Apple have the knowledge of knowing the hardware spec's of every single gen of their products. Are you honestly saying as a fellow consumer that it is acceptable to say...ahhhhh, so what the hardware still works but a new IOS out which I need for this podcast (yes a flipping podcast, not an app!!!!!!), so lets toss this thing and buy a new one!?!?!? C'mon, far from acceptable.

First of all, I was responding to the original poster.

If you want me to respond to you, here goes.

I was stating the facts only. Facts are facts.

If I were you, I would contact the people that make the flipping podcast.

They seem to be the ones that are holding you back by making it only available for the newer iOS.

You certainly don't need to purchase a new model as many people are using older iPod Touch's.

Now, back to the original poster.

The podcast was one example of what does not work following an IOS upgrade, the list is............................................................................. ...............

Nothing facctual in any of your response/s? What is a Windows computer, didn't realise computers were limited to Windows.

If you don't know what a fact is, and don't know what a Windows computer is, I can't help you.

I suggest you do some research.
