Q: My Macbook Air does not connect to my wireless HP printer, although my iPad does???

I have an HP Officejet 4622, on which I can print from my iMac via USB and from my iPad wirelessly. But my new Macbook Air does not want to print on the same printer? I have tried a zillion things and it just doesn't want to connect to the wireless HP printer.

iMovie (iOS), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    Be more explicit about the zillion things, what did you try, could you print from the air to this printer previously, wha,t if any messages show in System Preferences>Print&Scan

     

    And are you still using Snow Leopard (10.6.8) or did you upgrade?
